I was taught that we raise kings! Then plans changed, and we became ‘bushmeat’. Or both, or none, or more…
Whilst on a residency in Europe, homesick and all, I got in a conversation on Facebook, with some university schoolmates of mine.
Now, one of them had posted on Facebook saying: "" Maths: One bushmeat at hand is worth two supermodels on E TV!!"" Finding this interesting, and going with this curious joke, I amicably asked what this meant and how it happens that 'bushmeat' (Anu-nchi in the Igbo Language- [He is also Igbo, like myself]) can be placed side by side in a situation with 'supermodels on E TV'? As other people joined the conversation, we established and we understood clearly, I especially, that women in general are a.k.a. Bushmeat.
Well... ... What can I say? Just that we are but bushmeat only trying to be colourful, where we can. Are we?
